The Erasmus+ cooperation partnership project called AUREA (Automatic Recognition Assessment) aims to support automatic recognition for credit mobility students by identifying barriers, analysing existing options, and providing policy recommendations for the future of automatic recognition.

The three-year-long project, which started in January 2025, creates a shared understanding of (full) automatic recognition on a European level and provides Higher Education Institutions the necessary tools and information to assess their readiness for implementation of automatic credit recognition and fostering evidence-based policy making.

ELTE primarily contributes to research activities. ELTE experts from the Faculty of Humanities, Department of International Affairs, Head of Office Tekla Gaál and International Coordinator Dr. Lilla Gilián lead the relevant literature review and take part in the analysis of existing data and practices of credit recognition.
