The AUREA project consortium is organising a webinar on 27 October 2025, called “The long road to automatic recognition in the context of mobility” to explore the latest insights on automatic credit recognition in European higher education and to disseminate the project results achieved so far. The event will be hosted by the lead of the project consortium, ESU - European Students’ Union.

The webinar will present the “Analysis of existing data and practices” report, which was written by the lead of ELTE:
- to give a comprehensive overview of current recognition practices in Erasmus+ and other mobility programmes,
- to provide insights into barriers and enabling practices across institutions and countries,
- to show the experiences of both Higher Education Institutions and students.
In addition to the presentations of experts, a panel discussion with leading voices in student representation, higher education institutions, and policy-making will try to map the current situation and challenges of credit recognition.
